Microsoft Solution Architect - Tampa

Catapult Systems is growing and we need a seasoned Microsoft Solution Architect for our Tampa office.

Roles and Responsibilities

Providing technical leadership to the programming teams on a wide range of technology areas including eCommerce, system integration, .NET development, SOA best practices and solutions delivery Acquiring an in-depth understanding of the business purpose, requirements, and desired outcomes from a global perspective Designing solutions, integrating necessary components and maintaining the application and its architecture Recommending highly secure, cost effective, high performing technical solutions that maximize business value Provide accurate scoping and estimation of development efforts based on solution requirements Experience with Microsoft server products like BizTalk Server 2004/2006 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007/SharePoint 2003 is a plus

Qualifications

8+ years experience developing large scale and multi-tiered Web applications Applied understanding of software development life cycle, and ability to adjust and lead in a fast-paced environment Proven track record integrating large systems Proven architecture background (applications, data, and security) Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong interest in tackling diverse technical problems Hands-on experience in development using ASP.NET, VB.NET, C# and related Microsoft software development tools Knowledge in Web-related technologies, e.g. HTTP, DHTML, CSS/JavaScript and browser compatibility issues Experience with knowledge of SQL Server databasesExperience with XML, XML Schemas and related technologies a plus Ability and desire to communicate the value of technology and change Ability to build relationships and influence others
